A SICK teenage mum threw a kitten to its death from an 11th floor flat – then told the shocked owner: "You did not want it anyway."
Stacey Ravenall, 19, dropped four-month-old Cuwella from the tower block window after hitting and throwing it around the flat. The kitten died 15 MINUTES later from internal bleeding. Sick ... When Laura said she might take it to a sanctuary to give it a better home, Ravenall hit Cuwella and flung the animal into a hallway. Advertisement She then picked it up, pushed past Laura and dropped the meowing kitten "straight out the window", Birmingham JPs were told. When asked "why" by shocked Laura, Ravenall replied: "You did not want it anyway." Ravenall, of Birmingham, was sentenced to four months' custody suspended for two years and banned from keeping animals for ten years. She admitted animal cruelty earlier. JPs accepted that it was an "impulsive act". Aftab Zahoor, defending, said: "She is disgusted with herself." RSPCA inspector Rob Hartley said: "This cat suffered a painful and traumatic death."
