Default Scary Movie 5
The Weinstein Company has revealed that it is planning to make a fifth instalment in the Scary Movie franchise.

The film studio announced via Facebook that Scary Movie 5 is in development, according to First Showing.

"Scary Movie 5 is announced by The Weinstein Company," read the statement.

As of yet, there is little information on the sequel. No director has been chosen and Anna Faris, the star of the previous four movies, has not been confirmed for the fifth.

The last Scary Movie was released in 2006

I didn't really like any of the movies but always found Brenda hilarious.

It sounds like they're just milking it now that another Scream is being made.
