Presumably you all would have preferred him to lie?

For instance, I doubt he knows who Sally Bercow is, but she's a strong rumour to go in.

No but he could have just said "Well you'll have to tune in to to find out...I can say its gonna be a night you're not going to want to miss"....Or something along those lines.

He needs some serious lessons in promotion.
