Default Has BB's Audience Type Changed?
Just wondering, i think yes. It doesnt seem to attracting the old 'obsessive' types like before. The audience now seems to be just a casual TOWIE type. Sad really.
(pat on back for not mentioning the lack of live feed is the reason for this. Damn!)

Its certainly dumbed down a lot i wish i could be content with what it is now but its too trashy and shallow i will try and carry on watching but it is sad to see whats become of it. its like childrens tv now.

I am not addicted and I have been addicted to every series. I am only watching out of habit and hope at the moment. 12 more weeks of it seems a little long though.

I still watch, but in no way like i did before. if i miss it when its on, i ain't that fussed & make no effort really to catch up with it. unthinkable in previous years.

I am liking this series but I am sort of watching it out of habit. I would much rather listen to some music etc. But sill enjoying it though. I missed BB Bits the other day and normally I would be like I must catch up but now I am like idk.

It definitely doesnt have the emotional pull it once had.

You actually invested in the HMs at one time and couldnt wait for the next ep. Now it's just trashy TV that you don't care too much about missing episodes occasionally.

I'd say it definitely shed many intelligent viewers years ago.

Hard to say at this stage if its audience has changed.

I like this series and I am sure I will enjoy the main BB too.I don't know if the audience has changed as to the make up of it but it would be a positive thing if a new audience was also watching it too.

I think some have left it but it's also gained a fair few as a new audience,I now know people who are watching it who haven't really watched BB before.

I think you have slightly misread my post, I said it would be a positive thing if it was attracting new audiences, I ended with I know people (who I know personally,not on here),who haven't watched BB before who are now.

I would hope though that it does pull in new viewers and hold onto them too.That would be really good.

And yeah, not to sound like a broken record but without LF, it's a different show altogether imo. We have nothing to discuss really bar the HLs show and we all know, what they choose to show and what actually goes on can be alot different, so It's hard not to feel like we're being conned in some way.
