A lot of Diana fans but according to another thread about X Factor album sales on this site, she only shifted 170,000 copies of Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree.

Diana Vickers was original, and was the orignal Simon Cowell "marmite singer"

Janet has less power, less confidence, but maybe a little more likeability because you can see that she is vulnerable, and in the UK we like "vulnerable".

The problem is with both girls, this 'style' of singing is very limited and not suited to theme weeks. Diana pulled off big band week with "Smile" and disco week with Blondie's "Call Me". Not sure if Janet has the power, so she will really have to work on some arrangements. I'm not a fan of themes because every singer has a style, be it pop, blues or jazz etc so why have a Michael Jackson or Beatles week and force them to sing in a style that they have never been suited to?

Hated Diana with a strong passion, but Janet is just awful so I chose Diana.
