Default Why Does Louis Get Constantly Mocked..

when he has brought through two of the most sucessfull acts in X-Factor history in Jedward and JLS and will again this year bring through the act who will be most sucessfull outside of the show

LOUIS OWNS EVERY OTHER JUDGE FACT

I think it started in series 3 when he put The McDonald Brothers through and they became the joke act, then with Jedward in series 6, Wagner last year and Johnny & Goldie this year. He's actually got a really good track record if you look at his contestants and their success after the show but these days he (rightly) treats it all as a bit of fun knowing it could be his last and that it isn't actually a serious singing competition. But a lot of people aren't clever enough to realise he works very tongue in cheek

Jedward successful?

+ JLS would still be as big whoever mentored them.

Because of their personality not singing.... they're singles and album are a flop in the UK.

Did Louis give them their personalities? I think not.

Yeah but they've got a massive following and have done brilliantly for themsleves when everyone reckoned they'd be gone after a few months.....I believe it's coming up on 2 years now since they first started....

So? They're still millionaires. They had a double platinum album in Ireland, and a huge tour in Europe. They did relatively well at Eurovision and they're meant to be going back next year.

If Louis didn't have the groups then they wouldn't have made it to the live shows but whether thats a good or bad thing is another discussion altogether. The fact of the matter is, they're the most successful X Factor act of 2009 by a long stretch. Joe had to go on Popstar to Operastar to rescue his career and he released a cheesy covers album after that, Olly is presenting Xtra Factor to keep his music career afloat. Jedward headlined Celebrity Big Brother when they were still big names and not faded.

Yes, I can see Johnny having a media career after this, whether he does shows like DOI, CBB etc... is irrelevant he'll still do something after the show, whether it be Butlins etc... he's going places. .

Louis got Jedward big because he put them through. No other judge would (except Simon maybe.)

But Louis getting JLS backfired on the producers (or just Simon) giving him the bad catagory again. Yeah he didn't do anything to make them big, they would've been anyway but he still ended up with their decisions and stuff.

He has great acts this year. Well 2.

He is underrated as a judge but I think its deemed 'cool' to pick on Louis

I dont really mind him.

Louis seems to me to be very supportive of his acts he always says 'but I want people to vote for you' because he knows it's about the votes at the end of the day

Because he makes ridiculous decisions

The elimination of Maria Lawson over The Conway Sisters will never be forgiveable

Because;
He knows nothing about music.
He's a crap judge.
He gave us westlife, boyzonne and jedward.
He's annoying.
He's got funny hair.
He talks nonsense-all the time.
They keep giving him the worst catagory every year as producers dont take him seriously and he's just happy to be there.
He "takes bad acts and makes them worse."
Now looks totally out of place. He'l be gone next year-kept him a season too long(at least).

.......You did ask.

JLS just needed the platform of X Factor; Louis had no impact on their career IMO. Fair enough he did give Jedward a chance when nobody else would have, but I doubt even he could have predicted how well they'd do after the show. He knows how to annoy people, he has an eye for annoying acts, and that's why they give him the joke category each year. I don't know how many years running now it's been for Louis, having either the groups or the overs, but it's obvious that that's his role on the show. Were JLS the last act he got to a final?

He just missed out last year with Mary who would have made the final if they didn't change the format at the last minute

Aye if they hadn't fixed it for Cher to get to the final. Again though, Mary had the talent and initial support to make it that far - if anything, he ruined her chances, seeing as she was top of the votes in week 1 (the only act other than Matt to top the votes) and slowly dropped down the list in the weekly results positions.

I think she would've done that anyway, I really liked Mary but she did the same thing every week. When they tried to move her away from the ballads thats when she lost votes, but if she stuck with the ballads she would have lost votes anyway
