are pubs and clubs going to be open on Christmas eve? it's a Saturday night does anyone know? is anyone going out? I think NYE is a Saturday night too

They should be, I don't really get why people go out for Christmas Eve though, I did it last year and it just meant I felt s**t on Christmas Day

Yes they are open every Christmas Eve, the ones near us are usually open til 2am, it is tradition for me and my friends we go out every year so we can say happy christmas to each other at midnight. This year I have made Miss Claus outfits for us to wear! Love Christmas Eve drinks

Yes it's one of my favourite nights of the year, I go to my best mates house, we get dressed up in our Xmas outfits then sit in front of the tree with a glass of champers and open our presents to each other. We then go to the village she lives in and go meet our other mates and go round three or four of the local village pubs. But we do make sure we get home by one so that we're not ruined for christmas day

We go out in the afternoon. Nice meal onto the cinema, then home for evening to sit in and relax.

Restaurants and cinemas are usually quiet in the afternoon, which is a bonus.
