Who actually cares about the British Soap Awards anyway? I never pay any attention to them, they mean nothing. I do agree that Jake Wood should be nominated though, he's by far the best actor on the show but these awards don't have much credibility so this doesn't surprise me.

They use to mean something tbh, but not anymore.
It'll be very very interesting to see if EastEnders take the Best Soap Award though for the 5th year in a row - or if they'll get beat, and if they get beat - it'll be a wake up call for them to axe their current producer and shake it up.
