I've responded to this in the actual thread, its posted in there, and as a blog and in its own thread as well! Slight overkill. I respect your feelings Josiah, but I think its ridiculous if you ask for my thread removed.

Eveyone involved in the Tibb election knows it's for fun. There has been a fair bit of ribbing and p***-taking on all sides but it's all been done in good humour and I haven't seen any arguing or nastiness which is amazing when you consider how easily stuff - especially concerning anything even slightly political - sometimes descends into chaos. If only real elections were handled in such good spirit. I can't see what the problem could be. Taking part is not compulsory.
