Oh it's the DM, would that be the same paper who say teachers have no control etc etc on another day.


Time out rooms are used and not against the law here in England. They are used if a child has become a danger to others or themselves, and a member of staff will always remain outside the door.

It sounds like a pretty sensible solution to dealing with an out of control 9 year old if you ask me, apparently he was kicking the teachers. It's the parents who should be embarrassed about their childs behavior imo. My son is almost 9 and there is no way in the world he'd ever dream of kicking his teacher

Unfortunately teachers are up against it as some of these little darlings can do no wrong, at 9 he will know right from wrong.
