I wouldn't change what I think or my personality for anyone but I would prefer others to like me.
If they don't, well I cannot do anything about that really,the only thing I really hate and am bothered about are the petty minded people who act like they know you when they don't and also because I am a student and they have prejudicial views and dislikes of students then they attempt to put you down for that reason.

I have fortunately not been in the position, (not yet anyway), where there are people I do want to make a fair/good impression to and have failed in that.
It would disappoint me if someone didn't like me but I would in the end see it as their problem and not concern myself too much as to that.

I try to be as friendly and welcoming to all I meet, if that gets thrown back at me and rejected then so be it.

To a degree everyone cares what people think of them. I care what the people closest to me think about me, whereas most of the time it does not concern me what others think. Most of the time, there is always the odd occasion I do.

I don't care really. I used to when I was in the first years of high school because I got bullied quite badly but once I hit about 15/16 I just accepted some people won't like me no matter what so now I just try to be myself no matter what, the people who like me matter, I would rather spend time appreciating those people than worrying about those who don't like me.

yeah I think most teenagers are self conscious and want to fit in, as you get older this becomes less important to most.
