How come it is illegal to discriminate based on age.
But it is legal to pay someone less money because of their age, even though they do the same job as others? 18-20s get £5.02 per hour. Over 21s get £6.31. Both minimum wage. 18+ is deemed an adult in everything bar wages...why? |
