It seems to me they were all recruited from clubs, bars etc. which leads me to ask the question.. what was the point of having video auditions if none of them were chosen?

I thought Wolfy may have applied but even she said that she went to a club in Cornwall and the BB scouts recruited her from there. All the rest either have agencies, have some sort of special background story or have been in the media recently.

Feel a bit sorry for all of those that auditioned when there wasn't even a chance of them getting on the show.

Would think Sophie, the twins, and Jackie/Charlie all applied, maybe Sam and Callum too. Hard to say really, even if most of them were hand-picked they probably went through some sort of audition process, I think I remember Benedict saying he did even though he was approached

I think the twins probably auditioned as they seemed to be talking a lot about the house and how it had changed so they are obviously fans.

Also, the mum and daughter said they "applied together"

I just don't remember seeing any of their audition videos, unless they didn't upload them to youtube/dailymotion etc.

It just seems odd that all of them were either cast for a gimmick (i.e. twins, mother & daughter) or for stuff written about them in the media.

I was a bit disappointed as she seemed like a pure BB contestant through and through, but I still like her and it's great that she's fulfilling a dream of hers.
