So you guys already know I despise Dan. But tonight he pissed me off so much. He is becoming so smug and trying to take a sort of leadership role in the house. He also rules the pack of himself, Wolfy, Hazel, Gina and Charlie Travers. The other day when he made fun of Dexter annoyed me to, he really does think he's something special and has the thing sorted.

Tonight when it was revealed that Michael was an actor he stood up on the couch shouting 'I KNEW IT', 'I SAID THAT', 'I TOLD YOU'! He is so smug and full of himself I genuinely hate the guy. He needs to tone it down a bit because he thinks he's the detective and no big brother twist will get past him. I'm telling you now- he will sail right through to the final and win. We've seen it time and time again in Big Brother. Mark my words on this day. Dan will win.

He is a smarmy bitch he didnt do himself any favours in the popularity stakes tonight which is a good thing.
I quite like him until a few days ago but he is annoying me now.

I think you all on this thread must be watching an entirely different BB than I am, even the presenters don't see anything he is doing wrong.
Not even Michael saw it either.
I am totally puzzled at the hate for Dan, still if you think it's fair, it's your choice and your opinions but for me,I have no understanding as to what you say you are seeing.
Really sorry but I am genuinely really surprised at the vitriol against him.

Can people stop referring to Charlie with 'Charlie Travers' - Jesus Christ, we may aswell call the rest of the housemates by their full names then.

I'm sorry but the whole 'he made fun of Dexter, Dan is so smug' argument makes me laugh on here...we all sit and take the piss out of the housemates constantly so are we any better?

He did say all along to be fair. Are you telling me if you was in the same position, you'd have sat there and said zilch? Absolutely not... because I know I'd have said "I knew it" if I'd have been right all along.

Sheer prejudice. I think you know that. It is revealed in many posts about Dan eg, stereotypical bitchy gay; thick copper etc. I've seen it over and over again - in many cases more thinly veiled prejudices.
These people have deeply entrenched antipathies and nothing will change their minds. It's a shame, but Dan has plenty of fans too - and he's the bookies fav - so to hell with 'um!

If that is right then it is very sad. I cannot think of any other credible explanation though.

I am genuinely amazed and saddened too at the sudden rapid changes of opinion and the real intense dislike behind it too towards him.
Never mind, I stick to my guns and I still really like the guy,I haven't seen him really put a foot wrong in a medium way never mind a big way.

Just because he worked the secret out to near perfection and then was delighted to learn he was right.

Crumbs, all the times I have had that feeling when such a scenario happens to me then I must be a rotten individual to feel that way.

Dan was right. Dexter is a coward, a dirtbag, and was just outed as a tool. He will be gone in no time. He can go back to paying for hookers, and telling everyone how smart he is.
