That 'promo' for CBB12 - or whatever number it's on now.

It's everything stereotypical about Channel 5 and their editing team isn't it

I just find it almost rude and disrespectful to this series in a way, it's done wonders for Channel 5 - I mean I'm sorry but I honestly think Channel 5 as a whole, owe ALOT to Big Brother 14 in terms of how much viewers it's pulled in, how it's got people talking - and how in turn, their other shows have seen a rise in viewers, because of advertising whilst Big Brother has been on this year.

So, for them to make a silly little VT that's annoying anyway - and slap it onto an emotional ending to Big Brother, and then go onto call CBB, and I literally cringed in anger at this..

Really? 3 Weeks of watching TOWIE rejects, So Solid Crew members and a few old hags who barely anyone knows - is the best reality show ever?

Bit a bold statement to make considering there would be no Celebrity Big Brother if it wasn't for the real thing. I just found it abit annoying to be honest. It's like they made that VT to piss the die hard fans off.

It won't bomb. If CBB does however it is goodbye BB because there is no way Endemol would do a contract without CBB now

Last year it got 2.2 in officials. Compared to 2.8 the other series got.

I think the promo intentionally takes the piss out of itself by showing vile images such as Frankie Cocozza being sick and Denise Welch's tits and all the dramatic effects/music- I doubt they do it to piss the fans off. While 9/10 people on this forum, including me would rather no summer CBB the fact is it is a great tool for C5 to gain extra viewers during months where it usually struggles to get 1million getting 2 million is to hard a prospect to turn down.

In conclusion, all C5 care about is the viewing figures and fair enough tbh

CBB does badly: Well we clearly should cut the budget for Big Brother to invest more into CBB, or cancel both entirely

CBB does well: Increase CBB budget!

You can't run a business like that. CBB is more popular, better rated and still gets decent press coverage. All Channel 5, and Channel 4 care about is money from advertising. If they can make an few extra million a year whilst boosting their August/September shares so they are a better prospect for advertisers they are going too. Channel 4 never had this problem because 90 days of BB got high viewing figures every night.

BB could have an amazing series but if it is lower rated than CBB why do C5 give a ****?

Do you actually like Big Brother? All your threads seem to be complaints. If there are things that you'd like to be changed then email them or if not just don't watch it. I never see any positive threads...it's sad seeing as we're on a Big Brother Forum which presumably means you love it.
