I was a big smoker ten or so years ago,it was nothing for me to smoke 20 per day ,more if I was out socializing , I went home one night and just tried seeing how long I could go without one,the longer I went,the more determined I was to do it for longer,I haven't touched one since,that was over 10 years ago!!! I am proud of myself for that and saved loads of money

My friend had hypnotherapy in February. He was highly sceptical, but it worked completely. He says he's not even thought about cigarettes since, and he was a 10-20 a day man. He told me while she was doing the hypnotherapy, he was thinking, well this is daft, I can hear cars going by and birds singing, no way am I hypnotised. Then he never smoked again.

It's medication you take to help relieve the cravings but it doesn't contain nicotine

Its all about the real desire to stop. The ones who stop want to do and the ones who dont dont

Give me any smoker and if I tell him or her that if they stop and i find that they have smoked after a said date I will shoot them dead with a revolver - guess what

they would never smoke again


All about desire - that said it takes around 28 days for your brain to unlearn a habit so you will want one with a drink etc so dont go to pubs or do things that act as triggers for 28 days.

So much easier now with ecigs tho

I didn't get any of the severe side effects just felt a bit sick 10 minutes after taking a tablet. I think I got off lightly

I'm considering stopping more every day. I don't drink any more so there's no worry of relapsing when I'm out in a pub. But it's still hard because I sometimes still enjoying. Maybe when I get to 6 months sober I'll really give it a go. I'm probably going to go through a GP and not bother with e-cigs that create vapor, it will just make me want a cig.

try to cut down as most smokers smoke tons of fags they dont really want or need

That's probably a good idea, one thing at a time, you don't want to put too much pressure on yourself

Yeah definitely not. I remember we had this conversation before and said giving them both up at the same time would just be ridiculously hard LOL

My mum and dad have quit this year, my mum from willpower, My dad with e-cigs, so proud of them!
