Do they not understand it's a game....(seems only Christopher and matthew know this)
Danielles outburst at being nominated Stephens outburst at being nominated (takes it as a personal attack) Knowing that someone has been chosen as a SECRET power housemate and yet they are all on the attack? Helen being as vile as you can get (does she think we aren't watching? And won't find out who she really is?) Paulines aggressive behaviour (surely she would know being vile won't get you that win?) Toya is a mini Pauline. Chris was chosen as the secret housemate, now Jale is now out for her pound of flesh, saying 'don't lie to me', poor Chris has to lie it's the name of the game, have they all had a sense of humour removal? They just don't seem the brightest bunch, just nasty, egotistical, loud and cringey and vulger (i could go on!!!) Am i alone in thinking this??? -------------------- Top 3 Chris Christopher Matthew Last edited by rubymoo; 18-06-2014 at 07:14 AM. Reason: adding |

Completely agree with you Rubymoo - they all seem to have lost the plot this series but it could be down to the whole power theme - I also agree with your top 3 HM's

..yeah but I think that maybe everyone else's game starts to interfere and conflict with their game so they all start to forget they had a game in the first place and start taking it too seriously.. ![]()

Danielle's outburst stemmed by people laughing when her & Jale were nominated & then the house going 'what??', when Tamara was announced

Stevens reaction to being nommed sums it up. They have lost perspective and sight of the game aspect.
They seem not to grasp the fact that just because someone does not see other people as you do that does not make them bad. |

All the housemates were screened for the purpose of the show, and the traits likely to infuriate/pull the heartstrings of the public were sought to ensure an audience and revenue from voting. That's why it makes no sense to me to have a favourite at the start. Whomever you settle on as "a thoroughly nice bloke/lass" showed something in the interviews that made the BB team think "if we do x,y,and z, this person will turn into an utter **** and the ratings will soar". Even thoroughly-nice-Chris showed there's more to him when his question to the public was "who is my biggest threat?". You need to have a fairly pumped up sense of self, despite his protestation to the contrary, to view others as threats to your own success. He could have simply asked "who do the public want me to nominate?" which would have sounded much less grandiose.

Alot of the ex HM's have said that you forget about the camera's very quickly.
They all know that they are on BB, but I doubt that they'll believe it until they see themselves on TV. I think its the same most years. The "in" group has a sense of invulnerability, because they are popular. And in real life, popular is power. So for the likes of Helen, Pauline, Toya, or Steven, its a shock when the unpopular, or the drifters, flex their muscles. Chris is the most clued in at the moment. He seems to have a good grasp of whats going on and that it is a game. I hope that continues.

you're defending chris' decision to nominate steven on the grounds that it's just a game, real life doesn't come into it so steven is pathetic for crying
yet there you were in another thread slating jale for revealing who the power housemate was, game-related on her part also. |
