Default Work: Am I in the wrong?

I work in a service station and today while taking an order out back prepping it to take into the shop, I noticed some glue mouse traps which are disgusting things that should be illegal and I took them to my manager and basically told him my grievances with them. The order was only small, and they don't stock many, only enough room for 8 at a time and the order was 16 at something like 99p each so it isn't a money maker, but I basically asked him if he would not mind if we did not stock them and sent them back, because I detest them and people who use them and he told me to stop being thick and carry on. The insult took me back abit and I basically told him that I refuse to take them out front and we had a bit of an argument over it. Would you say that I am in the wrong for taking issue with them and I should just shut up and do my job?
