I've been looking on other sites and Twitter and it seems that the majority like him. I'm sorry but I feel if he was a women then he wouldn't be getting this love. I think he acted disgustingly in tonight's show, but because of his appearance and "bromance" with James people seem to think his behaviour is okay? If people hate Farrah then they should hate Austin because he's basically the male version of her. What do you think.

I almost always prefer female housemates, minus Dexter and Kemal, but I really like Austin and really don't like Farrah, nothing sexist just their approach to things. Tonight she made the accusations and started the argument, leading to him making a comment

I like him because he's not fake. He says what's on his mind and he doesn't hold back and he's honest. Some people say he's obnoxious but that's just because he has that sort of accent.

eh, I mean this is the logic that led to Helen Wood being venerated so I don't really buy into this tbh. I don't think being bitchy is synonymous with talking **** behind people's backs, and I don't think that honesty is inherently better.

Sums it up for me. He's a narcissistic ****-stirrer who manages to one-up himself every episode, and I'm just waiting for him to take it far enough to the point where he isolates himself and becomes our Bloody Brilliant WUM who the show feels the need to protect no matter what

... except Gary was a victim and isolated for nothing, Janice spat at Austin, is getting involved in arguments, and is not being treated as badly as Gary was at all

He never 'abandoned' Team America, that's just what Janice wants everybody to believe. If he prefers the UK housemates, why shouldn't he hang with them? He's not limited to who he can talk to. And I know for the fact if I had been put into a team with Farrah, Janice and Scoop then I'd be coming to the other side too. He never once claimed that he is trying to be British either, where on earth have you got that from?
