Default Can You Binge Watch A TV Show?

When re-watching stuff or watching a tv show for the first time do you have the patience to binge or do you take your time?

if its good enough then easily.. tend to forget things that happen in a show a lot easier whilst binge watching it though for some reason.

I prefer having a week to wait between episodes so I can try and work out what is going to happen next and discuss the episode with others etc.. But if there are multiple episodes available to me to watch then I'd binge watch them all as quickly as I could

I can binge but it depends if I find a show amazing like I do with Survivor, I've been watching it for 2 months now and already on my 19th out of 31 season but it only has 13-15 episodes per season so it's not that bad.

Depends. If the show is good yes. If not, then no.

Competition based reality shows are easier to watch back to back since they have a certain repeating pattern on when things happen, which helps you to know where you are at the program, meaning you can easily determine whether you are at the beginning, middle or near the end of an episode. And they are easier to follow too.

But only if you don´t know the winner of the season. For me it takes the much of the out of it.

But then again i have somehow found scripted shows (drama series) easier to watch back to back. For example i didn´t take long for me to watch Seasons 5-10 of House whereas i still haven´t finished watching BB16 USA or BBAUS seasons 9 and 10.

Not really, couldn't watch any more than 3 episodes in a row. It takes me between 2-4 weeks to watch a full season of something and then after that I have to stop and watch something else and come back to it at a later time. I don't know how people can do it. Besides, what's the rush?

Yes if I like the show. I binge watched 3 series of TWD in a week so I could be up to date when series 4 started.

I only binge, I can't keep up with shows weekly any more.

Even today, I watched hours upon hours of 24 hours in A&E, I'm essentially a fully qualified doctor right now.

That saying, I go through phases, I'll watch loads of a show, then get bored of the format and give up after a while.

I've binged so many shows, I love finding another show to get into and getting so hooked that I just have to watch more and more.

The thing is though, while I enjoy binging, I always want to eventually get up to date with it, then when I do I wish I had more episodes to binge.

I do like being up to date on shows too though because it's good being able to read theories about upcoming stuff and get involved in discussions about it.

...yeah I like to binge watch because I'm hopeless at keeping up with series...I binge watched TWD and sometimes watched 4/5 episodes in a day and now it's frustrating, having to wait each week....

I can usually only get through about 3 episodes on a typical Sunday evening, I never have time to 'binge' on any other day.

The only show I've ever binged on is 24 (my favourite show ever, I could happily watch it non stop all day lol!!)

But most shows, normally 2 or 3 episodes at a time would be enough.

Back in the day, definitely. By which I mean, when I was a student and had **** all else to do . Maybe not like some people binge watch though... I couldn't just watch an entire series without doing anything else... I think maybe at most 10 (45 minute) episodes in a day with a few breaks to do other things here and there.

These days with pesky things like a job and kids in the way the most we really "binge" is 2 to 3 episodes a night. Although, I did rewatch the whole first series of Buffy (13 episodes) in 2 days last week on Netflix... the shame...

I do. and it's horrible especially with netflix series, because then you have to wait an entire year for the new season. I watched the latest season of OitNB in 2 days.

Yeah I binge, When I started watching TWD originally the first two seasons were done already and it was brilliant being able to binge that many episodes
