I used to use Skype but most of my friends have iMessage/Facetime now.

Either WhatsApp or iMessage and then Facebook messenger. I do use Skype but not on a daily or any other time than chatting with mates or family abroad.

Dunno if you count Snapchat and DM on Instagram as messenger but them too.
