Is there any way we could get this sub-forum onto the main page for the upcoming season @ a mod? It's much more active than a good half of the other sections on here (I see you, Dancing on Ice)... and if not, could we at least have the description updated to say something slightly more current than "discuss San Juan Del Sur, currently being shown"? Lucy, CeCe, Michaela, Mari, Figgy and Rachel are all non-WASPs from what I can tell, so as long as you're fine with lots and lots of white men then it should be an okay season for you

Yeah 6 out of 20 is pretty good. Definitely not worth complaining about.

That was one of the first things I noticed no one said Parvati. A lot of Heroes vs Villains cast members got chosen though so they definitely know who Parvati is. I think the lack of female models probably led to Parvati not being chosen.

I think this cast is actually better in terms of minorities, which says a lot because the men are all from mayo-city.

I like that Rachel said that the Survivor she's most like is 'herself'

I can't really judge them yet but if I had to bet on who I think I'll like it would be... Michelle, Hannah, Taylor

(probably Zeke too but he could go anywhere from hilarious to annoying so idk)

They seem easy-going, fun, rootable.. I like the way they answered almost all their questions. (also Michelle is really cute so that's a plus for her )

this is based on reading about half the peoples' bios & watching a 4-5 minute long video where most or some (couldn't really tell how many) of the castaways said a little something

But I would not be surprised if those 3 actually ended up being 3 of my faves just from the vibe I get.

Yeah I could tell without even watching her interview that Hannah was one of Max's students

Ps I hope Jeff actually calls their tribes by their names (Vanua and Takali), because a) "Millennials win immunity" sounds ridiculous and b) we all know the less we hear about this theme the better

Having read the bios and watched the pre-show interviews...

Spoiler:

I'm quite intrigued to see how Michaela will come across as the season progresses. She didn't have that much presence, and it's surprising that she would be someone that producers would want to re-cast.

Excited to see her play.

I think Michaela comes off pretty well in her interviews, and at least seems level-headed in comparison to her fellow tribemates, so I'm looking forward to seeing her play too. It might suggest something that the two 'least millennial-y' millennials (her and Zeke, who says in response to a "what does it mean to be a millennial?" question that he doesn't even think of himself as one) are the two that return...

Yeah, I do like her. She just comes across a little lifeless at the moment? Obviously things might change on the edited show.

I actually have a strong feeling she could win the season based on her pre-show interview.
