I like him....he is just being real. He doesn't suffer fools easily and he is surrounded by quite a few in there.
Can't stand sheep who just laugh because everyone else is and don't like to think they are a killjoy.....he didn't laugh cos he didn't find him remotely funny...I didn't find him funny either...fair play to him.

...that's just James Whale though..he has one of those Jack Dee type faces and doesn't show much expression...or shows the same expression whatever his emotions, so I don't really think that it meant anything to read into that he didn't smile...
