I loved Marc, and wouldn't say Bear is anything like him.

One of the main differences is that there was no anger in Marc, and he was often just being a wind-up merchant- a lot of what he did seemed tongue-in-cheek. With Bear, much of what he does seems to be done with malice and with an underlying anger. He seems to have a chip on his shoulder, and full of bitterness and resentment. Marc seemed to be fully calm and in control, whereas Bear seems to be boiling away, and on the verge of exploding at any moment.

Another main difference is that Marc carried out his wind-ups alone, and not as part of a group, which makes Bear's behaviour much less innocent. Finally, Marc wanted to irritate and antagonise, whereas Bear seems to target and intimidate.

Marc was comic value, whereas Bear leaves an uncomfortable taste in the mouth. Surely an insult to Marc to compare the two.

From what I've seen so far he isn't he worst housemate in the history of BB. He seems to be getting all the forum blame for the aggro in the house so far which I think is a bit unfair. I find Lewis much worse and more calculating. There is blame on all sides I think for what's gone down so far. He is a bit of a ringleader but the actions of the younger group are not without provocation. Not a fan Vanessa but I certainly won't condemn you for it.

The difference is there is that Lewis is incredibly dull so not as many people pay as much attention to what he does as they will with a loud character such as Bear.
