I think the problem here (for me) is in the phrase, not the word. "The fat one", it singles him out, and solely because of weight. It's not the biggest crime on the planet but it's thoughtless.

Its a real shame because I thought i was gonna like him on launch night but he comes off real bitter-tbh they have both traded insults so not sure why the forum has it in for her.
