Former rugby union star Kyran Bracken has rented his £3.5million mansion to ITV to house this year's X Factor hopefuls.

The luxury property in upmarket Hadley Wood, north London, will be home to the popstar wannabees as they make their bid to win the public's hearts and bag the singing contest's crown.

However, while the contestants battle it out to impress Simon Cowell and his star-studded panel of judges - the real winner will be Bracken who will pocket a fortune when he puts the six-bedroom property back on the market next year.

They announced the finalists live last year, I thouht it worked pretty well, are they scrapping that?
