Default So is this a new real thing?

.......That if you tell someone you fancy a guy, then the person you tell is NOT allowed to fancy that guy too??

Cause when I was a young girl (few years back) if you fancied a guy, and your mate fancied him too, it was a competition to see who got there first

And if you fancied a guy and an ugly girl with implants, who was NOT your friend, also fancied him, then you would just laugh at the shocking state of the slag and move in on him immediately

Am I wrong?

Well, when I was in school (and I'm talking about in school not when i was a grown adult like that lot in CBB) If it was one of your really good friends and you'd fancied a guy for ages or whatever then usually she wouldn't go after him out of friendship loyalty But like if you both knew the guy a day or two then he's fair game lol

I find the storyline hard to believe, it's almost as if the producers asked them to fight over him

I'm inclined to agree.Either that or Chloe is making up her own GS storyline in there.

I would say that's common courtesy across ages / genders really... if one of your close friends has had (note real feelings for someone, reciprocated or not, for a long time then it's a ****ty move to "swoop in" and start something with that person. You probably just shouldn't go there, if you value the friendship.

In a new situation where people have known each other for literally a couple of days, it's all a bit ridiculous though .

Im not sure, my sister was going out with a guy and asked him to drop me off home cause it was raining, by the time he dropped me off, we were kissing!

Needless to say, she dumped him

then I dumped him too!

It was our way of separating the wheat from the chafe!

I was gobsmacked that the deluded Stacy laid claims to Calum, how many hints does it take for her to realise he doesn't fancy her ?

I think there is a difference between fancying someone and doing something about it. You can't help it if you find someone attractive but most people don't act on it if someone they are friends with is also really crushing on that person. I never went after my friends crushes though I have had that done to me once and it was her loss as he wasn't interested and she lost my respect. However there might be a bit more wisdom in letting the person they like decide who he likes back.

I know. Same with Chloe.
I love how they're acting as if Calum is mute who doesn't have a say in any of it. It's quite shocking to watch. If a man forced himself on a woman like that they'd be hell to pay.

No, it's not.

Chloe just thinks she was in with a chance. Probably forgetting she's not on Geordie Shore and all the men around her are not being paid to shag her.

If a friend/family member is really into someone (not just after a shag 5 mins after meeting them) then IMO they are out of bounds.

However..I used to have no morals about **** like this until I went on holiday and my sister (14 at the time) was 'in love' with one of the entertainers, who was very hot. And I got drunk and shagged him. My sister didn't speak to me for ages and wept for about 2 weeks after we got back from holiday too. She genuinely did think I had 'stole' her man. I couldn't get it through to her that she was underage..plus didn't even speak french so she couldn't speak to him at all
