is when they are sending demands for money,
I should have been moved onto a new tax code when I quit a job in August and still waiting, when I rang up I asked if she had notification that I had stopped working and she said yes we have the figures, so why do I need to ring up and wait for 40 minutes on the phone for you to do your job |

I reckon they should pay us the same interest rate on any tax they owe us as what they would charge if we are late paying.
So much form filling, unless you are prepared to wait until the next tax year for your rebate. |

they never paid Mr C's tax rebate and when they were contacted they said it would take 6 weeks to respond, in the end they needed some figures they hadn't asked for

I was on the flat 20% on all earnings emergency tax code for 8 full months in the job I had in my final Uni year. That was quite nice when I eventually managed to get it back.
It was a full 18 months later, though . |
