Default Corey Feldman Opens Up About His Plan To Expose Hollywood Pedophiles

I like Corey but he needs to realise he's just prolonging the abuse. These "people" should be named and shamed. It's going to take years to fund the movie - which means more victims. He needs to expose these sicko's NOW.

What he had to say at the end there about the statute of limitations is fascinating... like, he literally can't go to the police even if he could outright prove what they had done... it's irrelevant . I had a look, and;

Quote:
For criminal cases, a prosecutor may file a charge of aggravated rape at any time, with no limitation (in California, an aggravated rape is rape that involves a weapon, more than one person, or seriously injures the victim). Prosecution for "normal" sexual assault has a statute of limitations of six years.
Six years! So basically if the assault occurred in California any earlier than 2011... you're **** out of luck when it comes to going to the police.

And child abuse?... Surely there's no limitation on that?

Wow, so given how young some of these kids were they have no hope of ever being able to report anything if it takes them until adulthood to be able to make sense of it let alone get the courage to tell anyone.

As most of the accusers were teenagers at the time of the attacks, it would most likely be classed as statutory rape rather than child molestation...

Quote:
How Long is the Statute of Limitations for Statutory Rape?

As a general rule, the statute of limitations for statutory rape will depend on the seriousness of the criminal activity, particularity the age disparity between the alleged victim and the defendant.

PC 261.5(b) – If the two people involved are less than three years apart at the time of the crime, the defendant will be charged with a misdemeanor. The Statute of Limitations is one year for this statute
PC 261.5(c) – If the two people involved are more than three years apart at the time of the crime, the defendant can be charged with a felony or misdemeanor. The Statute of Limitations is three years for this conviction if filed as a felony.
Alarming.

Nah, I reckon he's currently pretty bulletproof because of how vocal he's been about feeling in danger. The people who are likely to be worried about what he has to say want people thinking he's just money grubbing / looking for a spotlight for himself... They don't want his claims taken seriously... And if he was to disappear or die suddenly at this point it would be a social media storm of speculations. EVERYONE would assume that someone silenced him and would be curious about who he had dirt on.

He deserves to get paid for how he suffered but any money made from a film will be used in law suits against him.

Statue of limitations should not exist for crimes against children.

Wait, I just thought - the six years thing may limit who can actually be made a felon, but if he has evidence and testimonies, why not just make the information public? They might not face jailtime, but if they are truly guilty, they deserve the information to be out there and for the consequences which would follow.

If Hollywood paedos get exposed and prosecuted due to him, I'd probably throw some money his way myself.

Because he's going to make accusations against the supper rich, who have top lawyers who will sue the arse off him. How is he going to survive all those law suits without being bankrupted and made a laughing stock?

Oliver did say if they have "proof".

If he has proof he can't be sued.

But of course if he had the proof other than his word he'd have outed them years ago I think.

I can't understand why he would want to make a film about it, a documentary would be more appropriate I think

Technically "documentary" can be callled a genre of film, I assume he just meant that.

How can you prove something like this though?
Not having proof doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Its highly unlikely he would of made this up. He had an amazing career in front of him. He had the opportunity to earn millions and he was willing to throw that away in what's probably a fruitless attempt to bring these people to justice.

I never said not having proof means it didn't happen.

I'm talking about proof being the only thing that would help him in a lawsuit when throwing accusations around that are outside the statute of limitations.

I'm not questioning the abuse the Corey went through.
