I'm not sure the pig thing was actually true tbf, iirc the claim came from one unnamed person as part of a biography of Cameron that was pretty widely trashed and was never corroborated by anyone else

The same applies as I said about Rory. It shows a weakness of character that I don't think is appropriate for someone trying to become the next PM

I think politicians often just say things like this to try and gain popularity with the younger voters. While retaining any support from older voters because it was so long ago so why be concerned now.

I would bet my house that Gove has done plenty shady things in his lifetime.

And replying to Ammi, we all have personal standards. What we deem acceptable from people and what we do not. I don't find it acceptable for a future PM and I won't sacrifice my moral compass for anyone.

I never ever touched drugs myself but just about all around me did.
It's not a weakness, it's much like people joining in to get drunk when others do.
Or in the past smoking too.

No need for him to regret it.
Nothing really wrong about it, unless it is pushed onto and forced on others.

Credit to him revealing it.
No need to be sorry, good thing he dabbled in it but not get dependent on it for long periods of his life.

...and for me Joey, one of your biggest strengths is that you don’t judge others.. ...there are moments in time that we can all get lost in but it’s how our paths step from those moments, for me...

...anyways when I logged off earlier this was being discussed on the radio and has been since then...so a good thing for him to have said to be able to raise drug awareness and to discuss etc...something which is widely used atm...well done Mr Gove...
