Yet the man drove at high speed while drunk so I highly doubt he cares about the welfare of his poor child anyway

It hard to judge with what happened in the length of vid.

Why was he stopped?
Why was the child taken out of the car at that point in time?
It looks like the man went to square up to one officers but I'm not sure how much care the officer tasing took to insure nobody got Injured because the other officer and girl was pretty close when he shot it off.

He was arrested on 8 different criminal offences and the incident has been sent to an Independent office of police conduct

There's not really much to go on here. Some bloke endangered the life of his kid by speeding and drunk driving? I'd probably taser him as well.

I would think the officer will be in trouble for it ~ not allowed to get mobiles out in petrol stations cos of risk. nevermind a taser

Yeah .. maybe a warning or whatever.. looking at the footage the guy who used the taser was pretty small compared to the guy who was so aggressive .. I’m wondering if he just panicked.. you don’t want some scary guy cursing at your face with all the worry of the virus .
