If people all scrapped their cars road deaths would plummet and if people stopped going abroad for their holidays climate change would be greatly reduced. If they stopped drinking and smoking and eating take-aways the pressure on the NHS would be HUGELY reduced..

And? I'm not saying people SHOULD wear masks, just that if they did, flu deaths would decrease. Just like people know that not smoking will decrease your chance of lung cancer but they still smoke.

Its personal choice. I haven't had the usual heavy cold I get twice a year, I put that down to masks and keeping away from people so I personally, will continue in crowded areas. I'm not particularly arsed about what anyone else does

I will 100% agree that the hospital visiting situation (especially palliative and Neonatal ICU) is absolutely dire. Really, really grim, needless, and traumatic for families.

I don't feel it impedes my freedom at all wearing a mask so whilst I won't probably wear one everywhere, all the time, I will wear one if I feel necessary. I've an unvaccinated kid and a vulnerable Dad so I'd rather not take any chances with their health.

I won't be pissed off if other people don't wear one....like I don't care if people smoke, but I choose not to, I don't eat takeaways but I don't care if anyone else does etc etc
