Charleston was probably my favourite. It's quaint, by the water, historic and felt very laid back but still had plenty of good bars and restaurants. It was a lot less built up than some of the other places we went as well which gave it more charm

I absolutely loved Memphis which I was surprised about as it wasn't one I was particularly looking forward to seeing on paper

Not sure if I could choose, there's some nice places for music history like Memphis.

I wouldn't want to live in America though. I also like those nice places quiet places in new England.

My mate and brother are planning to do route 66 for my mates 50th birthday in two years time. They keep asking me to go and I'd like to but I don't like being out of my comforts zone.
