[House of the Dragon is an upcoming
American fantasy drama television series
created by George R. R. Martin and
Ryan J. Condal for HBO.
It is a prequel to the television series
Game of Thrones (2011–2019) and
is based on Martin's 2018 novel Fire & Blood.
Set two hundred years before the
events of Game of Thrones
the series chronicles the beginning
of the end of House Targaryen]

There are two ‘introductory’ programs to watch first ( if you like )

Enter the House of Dragon gives a bit of info on the new characters .. 1 hour long

Plus there’s a 30 minute special with Jamie East as well

i thought the first episode was great, and it sets the scene really well
