Terrible time to travel abroad
Covid-19 meant, thousands of staff were sacked

We heard one attendant complaining to someone that the number of passengers they were dealing with went from 1,100 a week to 30,000 -.

They sacked / laid off all their staff during Covid and now they expect them to all come back to help them out ..

It is important we know
Other Airports in other nations are the same,

This is all from China's Covid-19
they started staff getting laid off in 2020

All around the world.

One of my friends had a flight booked today, they delayed it this morning by 3 hours but said to still arrive at the airport normal time. He got through the queues and security ok but then they cancelled the flight 3 hours before take off

I know there's a lot of things out of the airlines and airports control but the way customers are being messed around is awful

i've been messed around by airlines more times than i can count and i rate it amongst the most unpleasant experiences. Waiting at an airport with uncertainty is just grim

Yes in Manchester Police were called
to get people off a plane
that could not leave
due to not enough staff to fly it.

Covid-19 and Brexit
are the blame
Reporters are saying.
