Default Why does Marcello get slated whilst Emma gets applauded.
Emma's been just as bad as Marcello for lude and crude comments, why does she get laughed at and Marcello gets called sleazy.

Because Emma makes crude comments about everyone. Marcello makes crude comments about women only.

I have warmed to Marcello, he's shown some real tender moments and shown he can be super thoughtful, but his constant objectification of women is really gross. He's 34, not some unwise horny teenager.

I found it quite enlightening that Daze commented on L&L just how much Marcello is putting people off and how it was only after nominations people started to see the inappropriate comments were not going to stop - yet from our perspective, they've toned down if anything. Makes me wonder how much of him we're not seeing. Will be interesting to see how nominations go this time round.

They're both godawful but Emma is worse because she doesn't even have the niceness going for her that Marcello does at least

He does have some really nice qualities but the incessant sexual harassment of all the women in the house is a major red flag .

Not least because he apparently works as a youth mentor with young women ( people) … well he would wouldn’t he !!

Ask yourself.. what on-earth is he like with them when he’s not in the public eye surrounded by a hundred camera with 24/7 monitors ..

It must be / should be a concern for his bosses surely

these hm's have been chosen to test viewers norms. The viewer is the social experiment here, not the house mates. A girl that works in the food industry that is an absolute slob and wanders around randomly screaming eeeeeeeeeeee. It's like something out of monty python

I just said the same thing, I guess she's seen as ' witty'. But I think her sense of humour is just as dirty as Marcello's.

Emma makes me laugh with her quips. When she mentioned about Nathan's fingers being really long and said to Baked Potato to reconsider. "It would come out of your throat". Marcello targets the girls with sleazy comments. Which are somewhat more uncomfortable for them. It's all in the context it's intended and the way it's said.

I still think Emma enjoys Marcello's dirty comments....But yeah Marcello would flirt with a lampost , he did say he'll leave BP alone....now due to Nathan.

Marcello is a bit jealous but I think it's mainly his ego bruised. He'll just flirt with Emma more now.
