Hands off my Brick!
|
What was he playing at there? He sabotaged the task really which is fine if it was just him losing out but he took the opportunity away from Emily to go to the last round (not that she would have won the pass anyway but ya know)

Emily didn't help either. I'm not sure why she started asking him about why he found her jarring and then, later, the kitchen dictator remark just before the eye fell. I don't think either of them were taking it overly seriously.

it was a tactical play by Tate. He figured that Emily would go rather than him, so that would get him his place in the final

Yeah I felt that as well, absolutely no need to be moving around, she did well to keep the eye up and he was the one that dropped in the end I believe his thinking was that Emily did not deserve the final and they had been turned over by BB with the red eye/white eye thing when they thought Emily would come last

…I liked the ‘revenge’ later on the late show of Tate being in jail and Emily throwing the tomatoes at him…

…what I’m imagining is that Emily has had very little and few moments that have brought her a smile/rather than tears in the lack of acceptance she’s felt from the house in general so it was lovely to see that smile …and all she got was reds in the end to ‘appreciate’ her impact…so this time she got to throw some reds…

…I don’t understand why that would speak volumes when it was obviously part of the task to choose someone…/…that didn’t speak anymore volumes than any other task and when a housemate has been ‘the chosen one’ for something negative …

I'll say it again. If it was the other way round the reaction would not be isn't it nice to see Tate smile whilst ranting and throwing tomatoes at Emily. Or any other housemate, come to think of it! |

…when that’s something that had to be done and a choice had to be made etc…I do feel that approaching it with smiles and humour and trying to make as light of it as possible etc…is something that many people would do…I can’t imagine also how it would have been if Emily had been in floods of tears and looking devastated and distraught and throwing the tomatoes…/…a distraught that she was shown as being when she was bombarded with red eyes…it feels a bit that she can’t really do right for doing wrong, whatever her actions or reactions…and I’m thinking that’s how she herself has been feeling also, so many times…

…well, I get that that’s your assumption and thought process etc but Emily and Tate don’t have the same house experiences in terms of so many aspects of actions and interactions etc and feelings of approval and acceptance…so it is hugely more layered than that to equate …(…in my opinion…)…it’s just not something that I can comment on without many layers that just aren’t there…

…I hadn’t actually realised that he was the main person who cooked for the house…maybe it was just me who had missed that if it had been widely mentioned on highlights…but it does for me, give a bit of a different slant and thought on things like ‘bowl-gate’ and why he felt so annoyed and also why he was the shopping list person and concerned so anxious about Caroline doing it…anyway, I’m getting off topic so…overall the deciding tasks weren’t great tbh and then became pointless…(…Apprentice style…)…when it was all down to that ‘bid to win’ by the two finalists…every task for me has seemed to be taken from other reality shows in ideas…

The tasks have been awful for the most part. I did enjoy Perfect Day but I can honestly say that feels like it for this series. Everything else has come across to either mock, stir or both. |

I'm surprised that hasn't been a task.
