I don't think she was completely manufacturing her reaction, but it was definitely OTT and leaning towards attention-seeking. His leaving became all about her and her screaming in the DR was along those lines "my home life is horrible", etc. It's in the very least a massive red flag for that relationship. If he goes away to the bathroom too long to have a phone call, is she going to be OK? None of this is new however, so I don't know that it was "for votes."

She is a Tiktok "star" and those platforms often reinforce negative stereotypes about people so what we get is often played up. So she's certainly trained to a degree to solicit validation, but I don't know that she even knows she's doing it sometimes if that makes sense. Her behavior is very unfortunate at times. But at least she was enjoying herself before he left because if we remember for weeks she wasn't supposedly and that caused people like Richard to vote for her. So I guess we'll see what happens to her moods after this...

I thought her saying her home life was horrible was a bit cruel to her adoptive parents who I thought adored and spoiled her

I just wish they’d shown more of her real self ( shown on the live streams )rather than just showing all the times when she was talking nonsense about demons and unicorns which was probably 0.00001% of the time

( i still think the vast majority of all that gobbledygook was tongue in cheek as on one occasion talking to a few people in the snug ( live stream) someone must’ve have made a disbelieving face as Elsa came out of character and had to stop herself from laughing ..)
