For this week’s shopping task, Big Brother is testing whether one team of Housemates can be turned into ‘Losers’. Will consistently losing a series of secretly rigged games leave them so annoyed and angry that they lose even when they actually have a fair chance of winning? Big Brother has divided Housemates into the Red Team and the Blue Team. The two teams will compete against each other in a series of head to head challenges, with the winners receiving a luxury shopping budget. However, what the Blue team don’t know is that the real shopping task is called ‘Losers’, and Big Brother has rigged all but one of the rounds so that the Red Team win every time. The real task is for the Red Team to irritate and annoy the Blue Team, so as they stack up their victories, the Blue Team lose all faith in their ability to win. If the Red Team win the final, fair challenge then the whole house will be rewarded with a luxury shopping budget. Red Team (The Winners) Ash Ashleigh Helen Mark Winston Blue Team (The Losers) Chris Christopher Pav Steven Zoe HOW IT WORKS THE FAKE TASK To the Housemates Big Brother will refer to this task as “Red v Blue”. BB will start the task by splitting the Housemates into two teams – reds and blues. They will wear red and blue outfits throughout the two days. The teams will be told that all tasks throughout the two days will be identical and competitive, with the overall winning team earning a luxury shopping budget for the next week. THE TEAMS The teams have been chosen so that most of the confident, cocky Housemates are in the winning Red Team, while the quieter Housemates are in the losing Blue team. THE WINNERS will be told they will automatically win each task and their job is to undermine and anger the other team throughout the two days. There will be one final fair head to head task. The real task is for the WINNERS to undermine the LOSERS’ confidence to the extent that they lose. If the LOSERS lose then the luxury shopping budget will be won by the entire house. DAY TWO Keep Calm and Carry On One by one a player from each team is hooked up to a heart rate monitor (which is fake). Big Brother tells them they need to stay completely calm as possible. The plasmas behind them show their heart rate (fake). Players from the other team then have to try and raise the opponent’s heart rate in the quickest time possible. This works in a series of hits, the players trying to raise the heart rate are instructed to do this using different emotions for each hit – e.g. ‘arousal’, ‘fear’, ‘get personal’. The Red Team will win! REWARD - SWEET TREATS FINAL GAME – (A real fair game) Hands up for Victory Each Housemate puts their hand up to hold a bucket full of gunge in place. The moment they release their hand then they get gunged. The last player to stay dry wins. The Red Team winners know that their task is to win, but if the others endure for longer than 30 minutes then the overall task has been failed. |

Oh I would love it for BB to fix it for the blue team to win the final task - even if it means a basic shopping budget - it would be worth it to see the red teams faces knowing they had lost the most important task of all. |

Day 50: Task - Hands Up For Victory There's one final challenge left in the Losers task. But it's the challenge everything hinges on. Big Brother has rigged up a series of gunge bunkets in the garden. Every housemates must sit under a bucket and hold it up. When they let go, they'll get gunged. According to the rules Big Brother has told them, whichever team holds out the longest will win. In fact, this is the only real challenge of the task. After two days of failing every task they attempted while the Reds appeared to glide effortlessly through it all, the Blues are feeling pretty demoralised. Will they even want to try at this last, all important task? How much does failure really affect a housemate's willingness to play Big Brother's games? We'll find out soon. |

Zoe had to get personal with Helen to increase her heart rate. Pav’s heart rate increased quickest and therefore Helen won the battle. As a result the Red Team won Keep Calm and Carry on. FINAL GAME: Hands Up for Victory In the final game the Red and Blue team competed in the first genuine task of the day. They had to hold a door of gunge shut for as long as possible.
