Kylie Evans, sister of Ched Evans rumoured for BB16

The Sun has reported that Kylie Evans, the sister of Ched Evans, auditioned for Big Brother 2015 and was put through to the later stages of the process. A source is quoted in the Sun: "She was at the auditions in Manchester. I spoke to her about going into the house. "She made it sound as though she had missed the first rounds as she'd been put straight through by her agent. "She definitely got past the final eight and hinted she’s in the final cut. She mentioned her brother during the auditions and explained who he was. I think she’s going in there to try and profess his innocence." Ched Evans was jailed for rape five years in April 2012. He has protested his innocence and the Criminal Cases Review Commission is deciding whether he can appeal. He was released from prison mid-way through the five year sentence last October. Kylie previously caused controversy when she appeared on ITV’s This Morning to defend her brother alongside Evans’ fianceé. There is a quote for a Big Brother spokesperson in the Daily Mirror about the potential casting: "The casting of Big Brother is a confidential process and we don't comment on rumour of speculation of housemates." Most people thought either Tamara or Danielle would've been evicted first during launch, because of their VTs. Time to end the mystery. I auditioned in London and my special item was a "Justice For Ched" tee shirt. I am far more au fait with the campaign than Initial/Endemol/the tabloids.
