Julie Burchill Rumoured - Sun Newspaper Report

The Sun reported that journalist Julie Burchill has been offered a place in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother, and that she would be paid £300,000. The Sun article also said that she had apparently spoken to several people about the offer, attempting to find out what former housemates Liz Jones and Samantha brick were paid for appearing on the show, and this might damage her chances of appearing. A source is quoted: "Julie would be great on the show as she is mouthy and feisty but part of the deal is you are not allowed to tell people the offer - The fact she has means producers may not now go ahead" Julie Burchill is know for for courting controversy with her outspoken views. She was mentioned in The Sun too however in the paper it says Quote: but the fact Julie has been sp open about the deal means producers may now rescind it. I really like Julie Burchill she'd make a great HM and I hope she goes in. I am very surprised she was stupid enough to discuss the offer. If you're reading this Julie - Is one hundred thousand pounds per week for three weeks not good enough wages for you? It makes you sound very greedy - what a shame.
