According to data released by the search engine Yahoo, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother were the most searched for television shows, ahead of ratings giants such as Strictly Come Dancing, Eastenders and The X Factor. The ratings for BB15 were down to an average of 1.6 million a night from 1.9 million for BB14, however the January Celebrity BB in 2014 got the highest rating for Big Brother since it moved to Channel 5.
