Daily Update: Day 7 Shown: Tonight, Thursday 4th August 9pm on Channel 5 On tonight’s show: The shopping task comes to an end On tonight’s Big Brother’s Bit On The Side with Rylan Clark-Neal at 11.05pm on Channel 5, guests include Robin Windsor, Dee Kelly, Nina Wadia, Judi James and actor James Cosmo Key highlights and quotes from tonight’s show: · It’s the second day of this week’s shopping task, The Humans and The Artificials continue to go head-to-head in tasks · The Artificials continue to assist The Humans · In the garden, Lewis and Grant are talking about how Bear is ‘grating’ on them · In the diary room, Aubrey is talking about her feelings towards some of her housemates · Bear requests Aubrey to give him a hand massage, she does · In the diary room, Samantha comments on how Bear is ‘taking the task to the extreme’ · Bear requests Aubrey to read his palm; “This line is how big of an a*sehole you are, it wraps all around!” · In the garden, Samantha is talking to Marnie and Katie; “I met somebody a couple of months ago and I’m very happy. As you get older life goes so quick. I’ve now fell in love with another woman.” She confirms she’s in love again · The Artificials and The Humans must now test their ability to suppress their emotions. Each team will take it in turns to try and provoke an emotional response from the other team · Big Brother announces that The Artificials have won the luxury shopping budget · In the diary room, James is talking to Big Brother; “I’m probably the grumpy old man in the house!” · In the smoking area, Bear reveals to Samantha that he is seeing someone on the outside, and now ‘doesn’t think she’s the one’ · In the bedroom, Renee, Aubrey and Biggins believe Bear ‘is desperate to win’ · In the smoking area, housemates are playing a game of truth or dare · Lewis and Marnie are getting close in the pod · In the smoking area, Bear dares Chloe to ‘snog him’, Heavy D witnesses this from the bathroom · Marnie confirms she would kiss Bear if dared to · In the diary room, Chloe thinks Renee ‘will hate her’ as she’s kissed Bear; “What have I done? I’ve just kissed Bear! Renee put her stamp on Bear…he has sex appeal but isn’t my type.” · In the smoking area, Lewis dares Chloe to kiss Bear. She accepts the dare, and housemates watch on · In the diary room, Heavy D is disappointed that Bear and Chloe have kissed, and reveals that he doesn’t trust Bear · In the kitchen, Renee asks Chloe how she thinks her boyfriend will feel about her kissing Bear, Chloe confirms ‘it was just a dare’ and ‘was in the moment’. · Most of the housemates are in bed, Chloe and Bear are kissing in the bathroom · Bear and Chloe head to the bedroom, Heavy D is in bed and tells him; “I’m trying to get some sleep mate, what’s wrong with ya? It’s 2am in the morning!” · Heavy D and Bear start to argue, Big Brother calls Heavy D to the diary room to take time to calm down · Heavy D believes Bear isn’t showing the house any respect as housemates are trying to sleep · In the bedroom, Renee explains to Bear that she feels he has ‘belittled’ Heavy D · Bear heads to the smoking area alone. He picks up a mug and throws it at a wall which damages a mirror · Heavy D heads back to the bedroom to get some sleep · Big Brother intervenes, and calls Bear to the diary room. Big Brother confirms to Bear that his behaviour is unacceptable and is not tolerated in the house · Bear states; “This is a joke!” · Big Brother asks Bear to remain in the diary room while Big Brother prepares a separate room for him to sleep in. He isn’t happy and asks Big Brother to open the diary room. Security enter the diary room and ask Bear to sit down, he sits down and apologises · Big Brother confirms to Bear that his behaviour was unacceptable, and issues him with a formal warning. Bear confirms that he understands, and spends the night in the spare room
