Grant Bovey evicted

Grant was the first housemate to be evicted from the summer 2016 Celebrity Big Brother house, in Friday's live show (5th August 2016), and in a nomination twist the housemates chose Bear to face eviction every week for the remainder of the series. Since Monday, the public were voting to save James Whale or Grant, and during Friday’s Channel 5 programme , Emma Willis announced live to the house that the first person to leave would be Grant. Following the announcement, Grant said his goodbyes and left the house, greeted by Emma and a mixed reaction from the crowd. Emma asked Grant how it feels to be first out: “Mixed emotions. I wanted to be myself and do my best, and didn’t want to be first out. Everything becomes hyper sensitive! I am glad to be out and to see my children and to sleep in my bed!” Grant continues: “I don’t know what you’ve seen, I haven’t pretended, I didn’t have a strategy. I have loved it.” Grant was surprised that Ricky nominated him: “When you have to nominate, you hardly know everybody!” Grant on Marnie: “It was a rolling gag! I liked Marnie but not in that way.” Grant on Bear: “I think he’s very interesting and desperate to win. He’s trying far too hard.” Grant would like Ricky to win. Big Brother then delivered a nomination bombshell. Housemates were asked to decide which housemate they would like to give an eternal nomination to, housemates chose Bear. He will now face eviction every single week for the remainder of the series. Big Brother returns tomorrow, Saturday, at 10.30pm. Emma will be back on Tuesday at 9pm for the next live eviction.

Pleased. He wouldn't have been my choice out of everyone but against James he definitely was.

like the crowd, the housemates (it seems), and most the viewers i'm finding it hard to care at all tonight's whole show is flat, emma's disillusioned, it all sucks

He joined in with the younger ones so would have enjoyed staying more than James...lWith Biggins gone and Saira jumping ship faster than a Titanic Rat I can't think who Janes will talk to now

Even his eviction has been totally overshadowed by the breaking news of Biggins and the Bear nominations that followed Grant leaving. Oh well...

Disappointed but not that bothered really. I didn't care who went this week,I feel Grant maybe would have done more as the series went on and that James has done all he is going to already however.
