here is another video without context or law for the internet to be judge and jury about WARNING GRAPHIC A woman whose boyfriend was fatally shot by a Minnesota police officer during a routine traffic stop brought the shooting immediate national attention after she live-streamed the graphic aftermath on Facebook Live. Lavish Reynolds was in the passenger seat when her boyfriend, 32-year-old Philando Castile, was shot multiple times by a police officer in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. |

Well, I guess she was making sure she had some evidence otherwise, no doubt excuses would be made for why it was his fault?

She did it to ensure she could get some justice, what else could she do? If she didn't film it, the victim would be discredited to excuse the police officers, kind of like what you're doing to this woman because she dared to film police misconduct.

Very difficult in high crime areas not to defend yourself first
when every traffic stop can potentially lead to a perp pulling a gun on you that changes everything I have every sympathy for the police and the job they do |

maybe they need better training. This is what I'm getting from seeing alot of those stories, it's the same with their fire service (no disrespect to them of course) but Gav is a firefighter and in their training they often look at other countries Fire service/incidents etc and he said that there's alot less safety measures with the American Fire service and it's very "gung ho" compared to here or the UK, seems like maybe a similar attitude comes with the Police service?

because im old enough to realise that videos can be highly misleading and do not give the whole picture. That is why we have courts and justice - to avoid mob justice/hysteria

or you just shouldn't be a police officer for a town if you're afraid of most of its inhabitants

"According to The Advocate, a warrant had been issued for Sterling’s arrest in 2015 after he failed to register as a sex offender for charges dating back to 2000. He also spent five years in prison beginning in 2009 for drug-related crimes.!"
SO the cops had every right to be very wary about this man and the fact he was armed |

Neither is "but he was a bad guy anyway", to be clear. Laying down justice is, as you are so fond of saying, up to a court of law. No one should be advocating judge dredd style trigger happy cops where anything goes so long as the victims are "baddies", it is a terrible idea. |
