My exact thoughts on it. It's one of those movies where the entire story seems like 10% of the story in another movie but aesthetically it's perfect.

And I'm sorry, this is just a great track.
Don't apologise.. I was just listening to the Carpenters in the car the other day and thinking what a fantastic, clear, soothing voice she had

Absolute beautiful voice. So smooth and soulful. Tragic what happened to her. But that song is just magic, right?

You see, I'm probably the other way around to you. Love Bacharach's music, and don't know much about Warwick herself.

I've not actually listened to a lot of her stuff.
Well her stuff really changed over the years. She went from folk to introspective songwriter and then into jazz and funk, with more of sociopolitical feel to her lyrics, while always maintaining that clarity of vision and purpose. Very intelligent and artistic woman.
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0YuaZcylk_o&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0YuaZcylk_o&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
This is probably a good example of her introspective and soul searching period. Magic. Not really easy listening though!

I must have seen or heard of him but I never noticed until you mentioned about him at the "Dancing on ice".
Of course it is very beautiful song and also "All I ask of you" from Phantom. I love the song.
