Global pop star Lady Gaga will soon be performing among the stars, blasting off into outer space in 2015 on a Virgin Galactic ship.

Her unearthly jam session will reportedly coincide with the Zero G Colony tech festival in New Mexico, and she will become the first celebrity musician to sing in space.

The out-of-this-world stunt will require some prep work. "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," a source told Us Weekly.

It's @ 47,000 after two days sales which isn't bad, especially when you compare with Katy who did 52k (with a 600k selling single), so it'll be on for 75 - 100k

I suppose it's just lower because she's coming off of a less hyped era, if you look at TFM - BTW, she literally couldn't sneeze without it being in the papers, after the hip injury she went totally MIA so people forgot about her, if anything it's a positive because it means the albums more likely to have longevity rather than drop off the charts super fast :shrug:

US Wise, I suppose it's just down to lack of promo, her last TV performance was on GMA in september :shrug: she's on SNL and ellen over the next couple of weeks though, so it should remain pretty steady

The sales week is Monday - Sunday but the radio week is Tuesday - Monday (which is why most songs in the US premiere on a tuesday, so that they get a full weeks radio airplay) it must take a while to work out where everything charts which is why they preview the main songs of interest on a Wednesday then release the full chart on a Thursday
