There's some new info on the stage

One Born This Way Ball stage will take up to 5 days to construct!

There will be 4 BTW Ball stages all around the world. So while Gaga will be touring at, for example - Italy, the next stage will be already in " construction " mode in Spain.

All the stuff that is needed for the show to be perfect will be transported / imported into the country ( or how do you Americans say it ) by 60 trucks and 30 buses.

The catwalk will be 30 meters long. The catwalk will be tongue-shaped*.

Caitlin with seeting if you order more then 1 ticket they will be placed together. If you and your friend order "2" tickets they will definately be next to each other. If you can't do that, that means there is no seets avalible. Some concerts (That are in less of a demand) allow you to pick your seets whether you want but that only really applies to areans and halls. I hope you can get tickets too see her. :).

Lady Gaga has released new details about her 2012-2013 Born This Way Ball World Tour, including wardrobe collaborations, info about the stage setup and design, and more

The tour kicked off last Friday in Seoul, South Korea and the 100+ stop tour will take the Ball throughout Asia, Australia, and Europe, with more dates to be announced.

"It's been my life's dream to be dressed in Italian designers," said Gaga, and as such she has collaborated on costumes with today's biggest Italian designers including Versace, Armani, and Moschino. Lady Gaga also sought designs from other major designers like Calvin Klein Jeans, while also continuing to work with young, up-and-coming designers, like Void of Course, Kerin Rose, Tex Saveiro and Fred Butler.

"Lady Gaga is the present and the future," said Donatella Versace. "She is the most revolutionary and inspirational artist. She is fearless and daring. I can't wait for everyone to be surprised by what we've cooked up together!"

The Born This Way Ball Tour has been described by Gaga as "the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame," and the stage reflects this kingdom. In early 2012 Gaga tweeted out a sketch of the set design, revealing a giant castle with a center pit within the stage dubbed "The Monster Pit." The record breaking stage was designed by Mark Fisher and built by renowned production firm Tait Towers, who have previously built stages for the likes of U2, Madonna, and the Rolling Stones.

"The stage set for the Born This Way Ball is the largest scenic structure that's ever been built to tour." says James "Winky" Fairorth, CEO of Tait Towers "The precise architectural detail was not compromised at all due to the global touring schedule, and the structure can be built using no tools or loose fasteners during assembly."

The stage and set have many capabilities and functions including 30 active windows and doors, each with a custom scenic painted roll drop which will reveal different scenes within the various rooms of the Castle, two swing walls which open to reveal the 50 foot tall castle behind it, 620 feet of custom LED lights and two sets of automated castle gates that open and close to a full 180 degrees.

Moving this massive set-up from place to place has also proved to be quite the undertaking. It takes fifteen 53 foot long tractor trailers to move the castle and the main stage and there are approximately 200 set carts that all of the elements travel in. To put that in perspective, if all of the set carts were lined up end to end, they would span approximately 1600 feet in length, the equivalent of over 5 football fields.

Lady Gaga looks set to cancel her sell-out show in Indonesia because the police believe her sexy clothes and dance moves undermine Islamic values.

A national police spokesman said the permit for Gaga's June 3 concert - the biggest show on her Asian tour - had been denied.

Jakarta police made the decision after critics said the Born This Way Ball would corrupt the country's youth.

She released TFM then went on tour 3 days later, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem, she's got some pretty big breaks whilst she's on tour too, so she can do vids/promo then

Oh, that's good. I thought she might be unable to do any promo and just let word of mouth and the tour sell the new record but it's good to hear that she has breaks in between so she can do some then. Even if she doesn't do much, it's still better than none at all. :spin:

Awesome. Garibay's production is always consistently good with GaGa so I'm glad she's working with him again. RedOne is actually a pretty mediocre producer, his work for other artists is nothing special but his work with GaGa is always epic, he always gets it right with her. Intrigued to see what they'll come up with next.

I also read somewhere that Scheisse and Heavy Metal Lover were going to become singles but once MTN flopped, they thought it would be best to start a new era instead. Shame if that's true because I think both tracks would have made excellent singles and I would've liked to have seen music videos for them.

Lady GaGa has confirmed that she has nearly finished recording her new album.

The singer revealed that she will announce the details of her third studio record this September after playing the new collection to her label earlier this week.

"Exciting news little monsters! I've played my new record for my label and will be announcing my new Album Title in September," GaGa tweeted.

The star's co-manager Vincent Herbert recently described the new material as "insane" and confirmed that GaGa was writing and recording while on her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour.

The as-yet-untitled third studio album from GaGa will serve as the follow-up to 2011's Born This Way, which has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

Lady GaGa will take her 'Born This Way Ball' to the UK on September 8, playing three dates in total. The star has yet to announce the North American leg of the world tour.
