Doogle, as you will now know, I didn't put you up for isolation, however I did confirm what you had to send in the thread and by pm but it can't be helped now, everyone did their best in the task, and it wasn't your fault, it came down to luck in the end, and we just didn't get enough clues. Thank you all for your hard work. I think I did the best job I could as teamleader and everyone did their bit. It wasn't a shambles Shaun :nono::tongue: Neither was it an easy task, as was stated, ok it was easy to pick the squares randomly, but then to co-ordinate it all online between 10 strangers and get no doubles was a challenge and gave me several grey hairs :joker:

Onto my selection for Isolation, Braden. I'm sorry I picked you, it wasn't that I wanted to pick you personally, just a process of elimination.

Would never have picked Lucas, my partner in Tibbcrime, or Josy or Lee (girls stick together :)) Marc had just been through the experience so I wouldn't send him again. DTM helped me a lot with the task, and spent a lot of time on it with me. I had 4 left to choose from. I kept Jarrod because he usually doesn't last long in these games awww. So I had three left to pick from and purely because of contribution I had to pick Braden, sorry :bawling: Good luck Braden. If you are the killer you get the last laugh on me :joker:

Four months ago, whilst the production for the series was still in the planning stages, Jasmine had been given a dossier by her superiors. She'd been involved with the serial killings perpetrated by 'Braden' just a few years beforehand and this expertise was enough to ensure that she could put a stop to any foul play. She'd been eager to take part: the potential payoff was great and she had a good idea of how the killer's mind might work.

She was taken to an abandoned barn which was used for food storage during the compound's zookeeping days, and was greeted with this ominous sight.

She fumbled for her flashlight and realised she was stood in a pile of straw at the door. She optimistically pointed the light in the direction of the ladder towards the back of the barn and her eyes fell upon something shiny.

She wandered around the ground floor and pushed decrepit cabinets and office chairs out of her path in search of some form of clue. It was hopeless to go through every discarded form or sheet of paper, she decided, and hoped to find one of those chests that the others seemed to find.

To her surprise, one of the computers came to life. The monitor slowly lit up and revealed the following text:

Singing her praises, she ran for the door and practically lept into the arms of the security officer.

In a slightly too eager bid to grab the clue, Jasmine stumbled into a floor trap that had been covered with hay. She quickly screamed in agony as she realised that the pit had been liberally supplied with barbed wire and in her desperate attempts to scramble for freedom she only exacerbated the lacerations. She'd lie there for days, crying for help, but none would come. After the fourth day however the bloodloss was too much for Jasmine to handle and she became the killer's second victim.

Okay, an explanation, even though this is wildly unnecessary and already been done to death.

As I'd already stated numerous times - I was moving home this weekend. I stated in the thread many times that I might not be able to keep up with the game since, y'know, I have people here I haven't seen in 3 months. I come back and find "this is a farce" amongst other complaints and then a ridiculous accusation that I only posted the death at 1am because Kate told me to.

I changed the thread title to "Death at 1" and, as seen in DrunkerThanSanta's post, this was common knowledge. I'd stated at 10pm that night that I was going for a bath and I did, and when I got back I started to write the story and format the posts.

So no, Kate, this wasn't a wild conspiracy to try and appease you and yes, I am offended, and I am reacting harshly, because I think you've been nothing but a spoilt bitch for the past couple of days. You said yourself you know I can be arrogant and think I'm better than everyone else so where the hell did you think this topic was going to go when you called the game a farce?

I stand by my decision to remove you from the game because a) I've revealed you were innocent and it would be impractical to reinstate you and b) I really don't want to be involved with anything with you in it right now.

I accept your apology but you've continued to demonstrate that you wish nothing more than to undermine my requests and rules. I apologise for making the sly dig at your prediction games, it was an unfair reaction to your 'farce' comment. There'll be no more mention of it and I'll continue the game as I wish, but I still stand by my view that you've wildly overreacted to something that you had no right to.

Umm for the record it isn't really our place to delete any post that Kate makes in this thread, it would kind of undermine the principle of inclusivity (dunno if that's actually a word) of the forum and it's openness, although Kate, it might be best if you refrain from posting anything too inflammatory, or anything regarding your dismissal from the game. I'm not saying that's a rule or anything like that, it's just a suggestion. Although I will say that, personally, I think it'd be best for the two of you to come to some kind of reconciliation here, because it's a shame to see this game that people always enjoy so much be marred by arguing.

Thank you MTVN, I take your points and will be continuing to post in here. I wont post anything negative towards Shaun but will voice my opinions politely if I have anything to say. As far as reconciling, well as I have said already I have openly apologised to Shaun and can't do anymore than that. The group of contestants were once again escorted from their cells - by now it felt almost as if they were outside them more often than contained - and gathered in the conference room. Only 8 of them remained now, and before they could begin to wonder what on Earth had happened to the celebrity in their midst, the screen flashed up.

Voice: Good evening, contestants. You will notice that the infamous Cassie D has been removed from the game.

An interruption came from Janelle.
"So she gets to walk away scot-free?" she cried incredulously, whilst several others nodded in agreement.

Voice: What has happened to her will become clear at the end of the series. But for now, the time has come for you to have a stab at who your new killer is. Jasmine and Sam have already fallen foul of this culprit and unless you stop them, the death toll can only increase. The standard procedure applies, just take out your ballots and place them into the poll box.

The group did as they were told, but not without dissent.
"Don't we usually get to discuss our decisions?" pondered Joshua, as he ticked his box.
"Who cares? We all know it's Daniela," Daniel coldly announced as he flashed her a piercing glare.
"That makes no sense and you know it - you're probably just killing me because I won't put out. Putain," she spat in retort.
"Yeah, plus our clues so far have been that one of the first ones applies here - surely that's the letter J. So it must be Janelle or Joshua, right?" Martha deduced, ticking her box (:evilgrin:)

Once again the group fell into loud argument, throwing accusations manically in an attempt to save their own skins. All of them except Rae, who seemed to be impervious to their accusations and unwilling to voice his own, were up in arms. The voice boomed for silence, as Zak dropped in his ballot.

The group whooped and pointed out that, since she had refused to vote, and her name begun with J, she must be it. Before they could finish celebrating, however, two burly men entered and grabbed hold of her. She struggled and screamed,

"I'm not the killer! You're making a huge mistake!" she protested, as they escorted her out of the room. The remaining contestants were then routinely taken back to their own cells.

In the middle of the night the contestants, who were fast asleep, awoke suddenly to discover that their individual screens had been turned on and were blaring static noise quite loudly. Caleb rubbed his eyes to stay awake, and Daniela cursed in her native language.

Voice: Unlucky.

The emoticon then disappeared and the cells were greeted with the live footage of what looked like a garage. Inside the dull green room - or at least so it looked with its night-vision feed - the contestants could just about make out a girl slumped in the back of a black 4x4. One of the windows had been hooked up with a tube, and some of the contestants immediately sussed what was happening.

The engine running and a pipe connecting the exhaust to the interior of the vehicle, Janelle would never wake up from the blow she'd been dealt earlier that evening. From all 7 of the remaining cells came cries of disbelief - all 7 that is, but one.

For your fifth task, Thriller, all seven of you will be helping me to look back on what's already been an eventful series of In Cold Blood. The production team have gone on strike since they find the game totally immoral, so we figured, why not use our resources?

For this task all seven of you will be required to write up a 2000 word account of the story of In Cold Blood. The story can be fictional, entirely random and full of unnecessary words but it has to adhere to the following rules:

Rules:
- All deaths must be mentioned
- All contestants' names must be mentioned
- All tasks and their outcomes must be mentioned
- And, most importantly, all of you have to submit 100 words on your own, as a minimum.

As team leader, jarroddaniel1 should divide the team into working on separate paragraphs (perhaps, as a suggestion, give each contestant a separate task and death to write about) and will be responsible for collating all of your works into a presentable, collective 2000 word piece. Of course, others are free to help him.

You may quote from my stories and the killings but I require some amount of creative and individual interpretation from all of you. For example, a successful piece may look like:

During the second task, Shaun changed his avatars to a number of random celebrities such as Janelle Monae and Daredevil. The contestants found this incredibly puzzling at first but soon became fiercely competitive as Novo and MTVN shot into an early lead over who correctly guessed the most.

An unsuccessful piece would look like:
