Feeling a little betrayed given her effort in the most recent task, compared to some of the others, Destiny climbed into the back of the police car discussing tactics and suspicions with her fellow Isolated detective, Ethan. She knew all too well that the outlook was bleak, and decided that talking about other things might take her mind off of what was to come.
"I could just tell the Killer wasn't Robert, it was just so obvious," she ranted with conviction, "I mean he was way too obvious, all like 'Yo imma be quiet'. Please!"
"No I agree," Ethan tried to interrupt.
"You take someone like Faye or Omar - no one'd suspect 'em, right?" Destiny persisted.
"Well someone did..." Ethan realised that Destiny's big mouth might get her into trouble, almost as if a storywriter was trying to give him more clues and information.

After about half an hour, the pair arrived at their location: it was at the city's docks.

The driver informed them that their duty for this investigation was to go as a team, and so they followed orders. A little relieved, Destiny kept talking.
"Hey maybe the killer's a merman or some ****," she cackled, as she took out a bag of Doritos. "You want one, hon?"
"Uh, thanks," Ethan accepted, as they walked around for a while chewing loudly.

Ethan pointed out that a flight of stairs went down into a building on the south side of the docks, and they agreed that it was a location of interest to the investigation. They entered the building and closed the iron door behind them, when they heard someone lock it from the other side.
"Aw ****," Destiny squealed, grabbing Ethan's arms.
"Well if he's on the outside that must be good, right?" Ethan comforted her.
"What makes you think he's not a she?" she pointed out, shaking Ethan in an attempt to be scary.

They walked further into the complex and found a room that was surrounded by brick walls and largely dominated by a ventilator in the middle of it.

"Wish I brought wellies," Ethan laughed, taking stock of the room, when Destiny realised her time to escape and started running down a corridor.
"I can't do this!" she cried, and he heard her slam a door - but before Ethan could turn around and chase after her, his door slammed shut too, and he again heard someone locking it from the outside.

A little calmer now, and more willing to cooperate, Destiny went to the door of her chamber and attempted to open it, but it wouldn't budge. The handle was impossible to move, and the cast-iron frame and door itself weren't likely to give way to any assault she could land upon it. She searched the room frantically for something to use - either as a tool or in self defence - as she kept an eye on the ventilator above her. Every now and again a stiff breeze wafted through and sent shivers down her spine, but after a while she noticed a rope come down - and attached to it was a piece of laminated paper saying:

Pull Me.

Thankful that it wasn't so long ago that she'd passed her physical training and exam for the police force, Destiny scrambled up the rope and escaped her chamber intact.

In his own chamber, Ethan noticed that the water level was rising. He looked around, throwing furniture and rubble, searching for something to climb and escape through the ventilator system with, but found nothing of use. He tried stacking the ladder on the bench but it wouldn't hold, and he even tried to climb it in these positions but fell each time.

As the water reached waist-height, he looked up pleadingly and saw a figure smiling down upon him. Ethan swore angrily, and was suddenly greeted by a cascade of water raining down upon him: the Killer had pulled up a truck pulling a water tank behind it.
Ethan emerged from the water dazed, and realised that some of the bricks in the walls surrounding him were caving, and started jumping from the water towards the ventilator.

The Killer took out an electric screwdriver and fastened a metal gauze to the top of the ventilator, so that Ethan couldn't use it as an escape hatch. They waited around to witness Ethan's last breaths as the water filled his lungs, and drowned out his cries.

and this Pull me -D is true because Shaun wouldn't make it a red herring because he'd be saying... Destiny is the killer but the clue of D is wrong so that would completely contradict the clue.

Task Five - Tic Tac Tot

Detectives, for this task your team leader shall be LemonJam.

This game, called Tic Tac Tot, shall see all nine of you placed in a three by three grid:

Detectives, you have twelve hours to free yourself from this grid. You must arrange yourselves into "lines" of three, and the first detective to do so from that group of three shall be freed. The grid will then be reset, and you'll restart. The freed detectives shall possibly be responsible for freeing the others.

To free yourself, you must simply post 'TACK'. I shall then cross you out in the grid. Two other detectives, who are able to form a line with you, must then also post 'TACK'. You shall then be freed, and not 'tot' (the German for dead xo) :)

The first three detectives freed shall be immune from Isolation this time around, and if the group pass, LemonJam shall be too.

If you're confused, this is a possible scenario from the above grid:

1. Doogle posts TACK
2. Mollie. posts TACK
3. Novo posts TACK
4. Doogle is freed, and therefore immune.
5. The grid is reset.

HOWEVER, this is also a possible scenario from the above grid:
1. Doogle posts TACK
2. Mollie. posts TACK
3. Marc posts TACK
4. A line is therefore not formed, no one is freed, and you have to wait for me to reset the grid ;)

Teamwork is therefore vital, but with the promise of immunity, will you be cooperative? :pipe: Good luck.
